Roux is an upcoming dining app designed to make dining easier than ever, from start to finish. It helps find the perfect restaurant for you, narrows down the thousands of choices to pick that perfect meal, simplifies your bill with mobile payment, and so much more. And here’s the best part: the more you use Roux, the better it gets at making dining better for you.
How does Roux benefit me?
Whether you're trying to squeeze in a good meal during your lunch hour, or just want to make dining out easier than ever, Roux is there for you every step of the way. It's there to make your experience easier and faster with three core features:
An AI-powered FlavorFilter that learns the more you use it so it can help you find the right place to eat and the right entrée to enjoy, every time you dine out.
Easy and fast real-time ordering, a new way to dine so you can get service when you need it, and add onto your plate as you eat.
Unbelievably convenient mobile payment, the best way to pay your bill without the headache of splitting it amongst yourselves and waiting for it to be collected.
Can I use Roux while I’m dining?
Of course! That's almost the entire point and why Roux is so different from other platforms. Roux can be used inside of the restaurant so you can browse the menu and use the FlavorFilter to find exactly what suits your tastes. While you're eating, say you need a refill, or wanted to order an extra side of fries. You can do it, right through Roux!
After you put in your order, the server will come over to confirm and you'll have your food in no time! You can also pay your bill with Roux, and leave reviews. Take a photo of your meal with Roux as part of the review as well, and your friends can see what you ate and if you recommend it or not! Roux is meant to be as interactive as can be.
How does payment work?
Once you or your party is ready to pay, there will be a pay button located on the bottom right of the app. Then, you will be able to review the tab and pay right from your phone. Want to split the bill? You can do that, too!
Can I use Roux to find restaurants?
Yes! Roux has great search functionality, and with it's FlavorFilter, can help you find the best restaurant for your needs and lifestyle. When you find such a restaurant, you can easily book a reservation ahead of time to make sure you and your party can be seated in good time.
Can I order takeout/delivery with Roux?
Roux is your personal dine-in assistant, and it's designed to help you along the way of your dine-in experience. Takeout and delivery are not integrated with Roux at this time.
Is my payment method information secure?
Absolutely. Roux partners with a secure payment processor and encrypts payment at the same level as other payment platforms like Apple Pay.
What if I need help using Roux?
Our goal is to make Roux as easy to use as possible, but of course, you may still have questions.
We will offer a support tab in the Roux platform so you can easily contact us regarding any questions with Roux.
How is Roux different from other dining apps?
Roux is the same, easy to use app across more than just one chain of restaurants. It goes with you whether you’re having steak or seafood and lets you find, enjoy, and review your meals no matter which partner restaurant you’re with.
